First day at #gulfood2023 in Dubai 🇦🇪 What a show!
The first pavilion I visited? #morroco! 🇲🇦
Then I met Mahamdou Lamine Diane and Becaye Diouf, two senegalese 🇸🇳 men living in Morocco and exhibiting their products with the Moroccan pavilion. Looks like this country is following me 😅
Then of course, I went to my favourite pavilion 🇲🇾 #malaysia! nicely crafted by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), the organiser of Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS).
Then it was a Saudi 🇸🇦 who spoke French 🇫🇷 to me at first after I swang by at #turkiye pavilion.
Then I bumped into my Canadian friend Nasser Deeb, CEM and his colleague Maysoun Deeb, the amazing people behind Halal Expo Canada – Exhibition & Conference 🇨🇦
Next is plan meeting with our partners with whom we’ve been working remotely and today was the first time we met physically. Truly nothing replace a physical meeting. I learned about the amazing journey of my sister Laurat Titilola Ogunjobi along with I met with Timothy Hyatt of Islamic Services of America (ISA) 🇺🇸 and Younes Baaja of HMCA – Halal Montreal Certification Authority 🇨🇦
Also bumped in to Awal Fuseini, PhD from the UK 🇬🇧 right after my polish friend certifiers 🇵🇱
And many more…
We hope to see you all at Africa MiTH in Senegal 🇸🇳 in May.
